Getting the Nursery Ready....

We wanted to give everyone a sneak peek at our nursery. Thanks to some wonderful friends, we have a lovely crib (thanks Sue, Russ, and Hanna!) and lot of other necessities.

The beautiful bedding is a gift from Steve's folks, and we can't be happier with with how nice it looks. The rocking chair is a gift from Suzanne's dad.

We also have some new friends already sharing the crib who can't wait until they have a baby girl to play with.

Waiting for Our Referral

Steve, Suzanne, and Midnight are awaiting the referral of our baby girl!

The latest referrals were issued on 2 November, and our referral should be in the next batch! We hope to receive our referral at the end of this month or early December!

After we receive the referral, we'll accept the referral, and then the Chinese adoption authorities will issue us our Travel Approval. Once we have this approval, we'll get our Chinese visas and start planning our trip! We're still expecting to travel in January 2007.
